This month we are featuring the employee spotlight on our summer graphic design intern here at Midnet.
Meet: Carly Caywood
Carly is going into her Junior year at Bowling Green State University, studying Graphic Design. When thinking about future career choices, she knew she wanted to do something where she could create something every day. She enjoys being creative and taking something that is poorly designed and improving it. This is her second summer working for Midnet Media. Last summer, she gained a lot of knowledge about this field of work and improved her skills as a designer. This summer, her goal is to continue her progress, build some work to show to future employers, and overall gain more confidence within this field of work. Most importantly, she hopes to gain a glimpse of what her future career could look like.
We asked Carly to answer a few questions that we feel really helps you to get to know her!
1.) How long have you been working at Midnet?
This is my second summer here.
2.) What is your position at Midnet and what do you like about the position?
I am an intern here at Midnet. I create social media graphics, schedule posts, help design websites, answer phone calls, and clean the office.
3.) What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
In my free time, I like to spend time with friends and family, draw, listen to music, go outside, and travel.
4.) If you could travel anywhere in the world where you go?
I’ve always wanted to travel across Europe!
5.) What three items would you take with you if you were shipwrecked on a deserted island where all your food and water needs were taken care of?
A tent, a lighter, and a gun.
6.) If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into a room the rest of your life, what song would you choose and why?
Cowboy Take Me Away by the Chicks because it's my favorite song!
