PHP Web Developer
Midnet Media seeks a skilled, flexible and motivated PHP Web Developer who is additionally the kind of person whom coworkers and clients like being around.
This position is located in Minster, Ohio, and/or Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Provide the best possible technical solutions for each Midnet project while far surpassing the client objective
- Learn and teach
- Improve the quality of PHP development on assigned projects
- A desire to turn purty pictures into powerful web solutions via open source development
- Real experience building web solutions based on bullets below
Requirements
- Experience with PHP and/or complex PHP projects
- Competency with related web technologies: Javascript, CSS, HTML
- Experience working in Web-based Content Management Systems
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills (fluent written and spoken English)
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Flexibility: You must be able to deal with constantly shifting priorities
Wanted
- Ability to develop, review, test, and deploy custom PHP modules
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Performance and scalability benchmarking and profiling
- Open source contributions, interactions with the OSS community

AWS/Microsoft 365 Administrator
Midnet Media seeks a skilled, flexible and motivated AWS/IT/Systems/Email/Server Administrator who is additionally the kind of person whom coworkers and clients like being around.
This position is located in Minster, Ohio, and/or Columbus, Ohio.
Requirements and Experience
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
- Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills leveraging all available resources
- Working directly with architects and developers to create supportable designs and debug problems
- Developing cloud infrastructure designs and implementations and guiding the process from development to operations
- Making decisions on problem resolutions in critical down time situations when escalation is impractical
- Experience implementing software-delivery solutions in AWS that may have included a variety of toolsets: EC2, GitLab, Ansible, Networking, Snapshots
- Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.
- Working knowledge of distributed architectural design patterns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborate with solution architects and other software engineers to design and launch new features
- Implement software components of highly available, scalable, and robust cloud services
- Maintain cloud component organization, code integrity, quality, and ensure responsiveness of applications
- Optimize applications for maximum scalability and speed
Microsoft 365
- Provide technical direction on Microsoft 365 deployment
- Implement best practices and standards
- Identify and manage technology risks
- Provide recommendations to be considered in developing the Technology roadmap
- Microsoft 365 products and deployment
- Backup & Recovery Systems
- Technical Procedures and Industry Best Practices
- Ability to work effectively in an outsourced IT environment
- Experience with and knowledge of legacy and new computing architectures
- Experience with managing technology costs and development of business cases
- Experience working with a variety of technologies within a domain
- Ability to identify group conflict and facilitate resolution
- Experience with managing Service Providers
